DASKA...Police unable to arrest fugitive accused police

The Sialkot police still remain unable to arrest the fugitive accused police officials nominated in the FIR lodged at Sialkot Saddar police station under section 155-C of Police Ordinance regarding the Aug 15, 2010 ghastly lynching incident in which the two innocent youths were brutally tortured to death by people in the presence of the seniorpolice officials in Sialkot after snatching these youths from the Rescue 1122 Sialkot personnel. The police registered this case only under 155-C of Police Ordinance regarding neglecting strong public demand for registration of murder case against the accused police officials under sections 109 and 302 PPC. According to the FIR, then SHO of Sialkot Saddar police station Inspector Rana Ilyas, sub inspector Gulzar Khan, 4 accused ASIs and eight police constables showed their negligence during this inhuman incident. Removing the mounted public pressure the Sialkot Saddar police arrested the accused SHO Inspector Rana Ilyas who fled away from Sialkot police custody from the office if DSP Saddar Sialkot on August 21,2010. The police also allegedly helped him in his escape. Talking to the newsmen, the newly appointed DPO Sialkot Bilal Sadique Kamiyana said all theaccused police officials would be arrested soon and would also be dealt with iron fist and would also be brought to task. .
